Nike and OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in Portland are releasing a “What The” Dunks for their 11th year of the “Doernbecher Freestyle Program,” which allows select children at the hospital to design their own pairs of sneakers. According to Nike, only 11 pairs of these “What The” Dunks will be made and will be available for auction on eBay starting June 11 with all proceeds going directly to charity. The auctions will last 10 days , ranging from sizes 8-12 and 13 and 14, which will come packed with scrubs from the Doernbecher hospital along with a box made of recycled skateboard decks. The rest of this year’s Doernbecher will be revealed on October 23.
