After getting a first glimpse at visvim’s Spring/Summer 2016 collection in the latest issue of SENSEthe Japanese brand drops a new lookbook to showcase its warm weather offerings. Hiroki Nakamura’s penchant for Americana is in full effect once again, though some classic sportswear looks are seamlessly integrated throughout. Light outerwear pieces like bombers, overcoats and workwear parkas are seen alongside laid back henley shirts, hoodies and long-sleeve linen tees. Elsewhere we see vintage-style crewnecks, cardigans, chinos, sweatpants and a host of denim. Arguably the standout piece is the sanjuro kimono jacket, a unique fusion of traditional Edo period attire and the iconic MA-1 jacket. Rounded off with some headwear and footwear options, look to pick up visvim’s new collection from the brand’s webstore and select retailers.
