As if the Ohio flavor wasn’t already deep enough in the Nike LeBron line, Nike has created a new sneaker named after LeBron James’ hometown.

Enter the Nike Air Akronite, a kids-only model shown for the first time here. The shoe doesn’t bear much resemblance to any of LeBron’s signature offerings, looking instead to the Nike archive for inspiration and coming back with a Nike Air Tech Challenge 2 sole.

The shoe gets confusing with the introduction of some patches on the upper that were used in Nike’s “Galaxy Pack” of All-Star sneakers from 2012.

The Nike Air Akronite is scheduled to release on October 15.
