Tinker Hatfield

Screen Shot 2015-11-04 at 11.10.58 AMIt would not be an exaggeration to say that Tinker Hatfield single-handedly helped revolutionize the sneaker world back in the late 1980s, and continued to dominate throughout the 90s.With his dope designs such as the Air Max 1, Air Trainer 1, Air Tech Challenge series, Air Jordans III – XV, XX, XX3, 2010-2012, XX8, XX9 & many more, no one could blame him for creating his legacy like none other in sneaker history.

FA15_JD_MTM_AJ1_Detail_Upper_rectangle_1600Despite designing few shoes these days, he sure makes the ones he does memorable & we all know he does. His recent one he designed was the MTM pack including a Air Jordan XX9 & Air Jordan 1 which will go down as an all-time classic. With his MTM pack he designed with Michael Jordan & Mark Parker which contains both sneakers with the materials switched it will be great for basketball players due to the fact of the materials used.

For example the Air Jordan I which is always with an original leather upper will instead adopt a black-and-grey Flyweave. This technology updates the Air Jordan I with a lightweight, one-piece construction and pattern work that’s impossible with leather.

Tinker Hatfield is one of our favorite designers and will continue to be because of his designs from long ago are still the most popular of today, and designers across the industry are still routinely taking inspiration from his iconic work. If it wasn’t for Tinker Hatfield i wouldn’t be rocking my all favorite design the Air Jordan 11. Check below for some of his designs.
