The 2015 return of the Reebok Pump re-introduced the technology via a running sneaker, the Reebok ZPump Fusion, but don’t forget that the Pump was born on a basketball shoe.
Following the ZPump Fusion, 2015’s Pump return has slowly bled into other categories, and will now head home via this, a brand new Reebok basketball sneaker featuring Pump technology. The shoe, the Reebok ZPump Rise, hits stores today, Oct. 15, in these two cloudy, graphic editions.
The design is, to some extent, the antithesis of today’s teched out basketball models, with a relatively simple upper consisting of just three lightweight parts. Those parts are the fusion sleeve, the internal mesh bootie, and the iconic Pump cushioning system.
Look for the Reebok ZPump Rise today via Reebok and Finish Line for $125.
