MLB Opening Day is here, and although that may not mean much in terms of sneakers, we’re already seeing some serious PE cleat heat.

Washington Nationals pitcher Gio Gonzalez took to Instagram to show off a pair of black and red Air Jordan IV cleats with some seriously nice details. They’re built with a perforated black leather upper and feature a breathable mesh tongue, and they’re finished off with a speckled “Cement”-esque midsole.

Gonzalez is no stranger to rocking PE heat on the mound, and he’s regularly seeded with Jordan Brand product, but these could be his best pair of exclusives yet. Although Gonzalez isn’t set to start against the Braves today—Max Scherzer will open for the second year straight—you should expect to see these in action soon.
