It’s no surprise these days to see Michael Jordan sneaker relics fetch tens of thousands of dollars, even some of the newer pairs not directly connected Jordan’s playing days go for that much, but it’s still sort of shocking to see that Steph Curry has already given Under Armour some of that same cache.

This Under Armour Clutchfit Drive for example, worn by Curry during an NBA Playoffs win against the Clippers on May 1, 2014, ended over the $10,000 mark at Grey Flannel Auctions. One has to assume that the buyer here was more of a sports fan than a sneaker fan – the Clutchfit Drive isn’t exactly the most celebrated of UA silhouettes.

Curry’s career arc suggests that he’s only getting started making memorable moments, so more of these auctions should be coming in the future.
