Jamal Johnson who was with his mother shopping for back to school became a victim of getting his sneakers stolen right after he purchased them.
Jamal begged his mom to get him a pair of white-on-white Air Force 1s so he could start off his freshman year of high school looking fresh. His mother purchased the pair at a Finish Line store in a mall in Roseville, Califiornia which after Jamal was helping his brother look for a pair of shoes afterward and set his down, only to come back 30 seconds later to see that someone had stolen them.
His mother a single mother of four with a tight budget, couldn’t afford to just buy another pair. So in result she ended up going all around the mall and parking lot to look for the person who snatched them up. Something special happened, the employees from Finish Line decided to step in and give them a free pair of Air forces which brought his mother to tears.
Jamal will get to wear his new Air Force 1s on the first day of school, and he plans to pay the store back. He says that as soon as he is able to get a job, he’s going to save up the money to pay for them himself.
To Assistant manager Andreanna Powell & the other employees from Finish Line i salute you for making a mother and her son happy after a tragic moment. Positive vibes all the way.
